Growing up, we were always exploring new flavors, swapping recipes, and dreaming up ideas for the next big thing we could make together. Whether it was tasting street food in a new city or perfecting a family recipe at home, food has always been at the center of our adventures.

We’re Anya, Bella, Olivia, and Christian—a sibling team with a shared love for great food and our Libertyville community. Growing up, we were always exploring new flavors, swapping recipes, and dreaming up ideas for the next big thing we could make together. Whether it was tasting street food in a new city or perfecting a family recipe at home, food has always been at the center of our adventures. 

With a grown interest in business, each of us brings something different to the table, from baking and recipe ideas to customer service and creative touches. Together since we took over in late 2020, we’ve turned Bagels by the Book into a warm, welcoming spot where every bagel is made with care (and a little sibling love).
