Bagels by the Book is located in Libertyville, Illinois just across from Condell Medical Center on Milwaukee Ave. It has become a mainstay in the community where many come not just for a  bagel or coffee but to visit and relax with friends and family.

Owner, Danielle, has built a thriving small business that has supported the community since 2000. Danielle has grown the business exponentially since taking over because of her hard work and dedication to providing the highest quality product to her loyal customers. This dedication has developed a regular customer base that ranges from families with children, high school clubs and teams and other local small business.

Many customers claim that Bagels by the Book has the most authentic bagels in the area. Danielle prides herself on the quality of her products. She and her husband, Bob, start their day early in the morning to make sure the bagels are baked fresh every morning.

They bake many varieties from the classics such as plain, sesame, poppy, everything and cinnamon raisin to the specialty bagels like spinach, French toast and the very popular cheddar cheese. However, the most popular item continues to be the made-to-order breakfast sandwiches with eggs and a selection of cheeses and choice of bacon, sausage or ham. Danielle is often found flipping eggs at the grill, while her husband is trying to keep up with the bacon.
